One of the members of the E-BoP team, Audrey Deverson, successfully defended her PhD thesis on 16 March 2026. Her PhD thesis is titled “Access to Social Rights for Temporary Labour Migrant Women in the EU: An Intersectional Perspective on Seasonal and Posted Workers in France and Spain” and the manuscript will be available in open access soon.
The jury was composed by Judy Fudge (McMaster University), Mireia Llobera Villa (Universitat de Valencia), Marie Mercat-Bruns (Sciences Po Paris), Sophie Robin-Olivier (Université Paris I Sorbonne), Bénédicte Lavaud-Legendre (CNRS – Université de Bordeaux), and Marco Rocca (CNRS – Université de Strasbourg) our PI and the supervisor of Audrey’s PhD thesis -incidentally, he’s writing this post, and he finds it hard to put into words how proud he is for Audrey’s achievement.
The rest of the E-BoP team extends its warmest congratulations to Audrey. Luckily it’s not goodbye just yet: Audrey managed to finish her thesis in advance, but she will be with us for a few more months.
