On 10 September, Marco, our PI, will participate in the CRIMT Webinar “Author Meets Readers” to discuss Leah Vosko’s book “Migrant Work by Another Name: Differential Inclusion and Precarity under Canada’s International Mobility Program”. Apart from all its qualities, the book is particularly interesting from the perspective of the research carried out in our project. Although in a different context (Canada), it interrogates the distinction mobility/migration, the impact of temporariness in creating vulnerabilities even for (supposedly) privileged migrants, and the role of legal representations in obfuscating the labour provided by certain category of migrants.
